Character 4 Kids is a non-profit 501C(3) organization whose mission is to encourage children who have had financial or physical setbacks to read by providing exciting, character building books.

We accomplish this by evaluating fiction work for kids, ages K-16, that meets are "5-Star Moral Character Building Rating," and then coordinating a plan of action with directors at Inner City After School Programs, Children's Hospitals, Boys & Girls Clubs, the YMCA, and other organizations who fit our mission profile.  Our desire is to not only provide the books, free of charge, but to enhance the experience with discussions on the books (reading comprehension, imagination, and reinforcement of the positive character issues) and when possible to have the authors of the chosen book make a face-to-face visit.
